What is The Role
We are looking for a meticulous technically savvy Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to support the execution optimization and governance of our lifecycle marketing programs. This role is responsible for managing our global and regional email newsletter programs maintaining program health and organization and ensuring scalable high-quality email experiences across the customer journey.
Youll partner closely with campaign operations and regional marketing teams to deliver lifecycle programs that drive engagement accelerate pipeline and improve customer experience!
What You Will Be Doing
Lifecycle Program Execution & Management
- Handle and fulfill lifecycle marketing requests around newsletter creation optimization and personalization at scale.
- Support lifecycle marketing request tickets across nurture trigger and cloud trial communications.
- Develop and maintain custom email templates aligned to brand and technical standards.
Program Health Governance & Optimization
- Maintain clean organized lifecycle program structures for visibility scalability and reporting accuracy.
- Investigate lifecycle program issues identify root causes and implement bug fixes or technical solutions.
- Monitor and reduce Marketo program technical debt through documentation optimization and cleanup.
- Ensure lifecycle emails are accurately configured for localization and regional deployment.
- Serve as primary point of contact between the Global Lifecycle Marketing team and the APJ Regional and Partner Marketing teams.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Apply AI tools and experimentation frameworks to improve personalization content variation and send-time optimization.
- Find opportunities to automate segmentation content assembly and nurture logic using predictive or AI-assisted workflows.
- Continuously test content variants (testing AI-generated content where appropriate) to increase engagement and downstream conversion.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly lifecycle performance reporting including insights and optimization recommendations.
- Monitor engagement trends across nurture flows triggers and trials to inform improvements.
- Partner with marketing ops and campaign teams to evolve lifecycle strategy and execution.
Professional Development
- Achieve and maintain Marketo certification.
- Stay current on the latest email marketing lifecycle automation and deliverability trends and recommendations.
What You Bring
- 4 years of experience in email marketing marketing automation or lifecycle marketing.
- Significant experience working in Marketo.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent requests.
- Analytical attitude with comfort interpreting email and nurture performance data.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong background with HTML/CSS for email templates.
Bonus Points
- Marketo certification (or willingness to acquire).
- Experience supporting global or localized lifecycle programs.
- Understanding of B2B demand generation and customer journey orchestration.
