Job Duties:
Participate on Close month procedure and yearly close acitivities
Inventory Analysis and Interpretation
Absorption Analysis and calculation
Provide month end cost variance analysis
Perform all related inventory journal entries
Inventory Account Reconciliation
Participate in Sales and Cost Forecast and Budget (Volume Sales Material Cost Labor & OH)
Determine annual labor rates and FOH rates by cost center
PPV analysis
New projects cost validation and implementation
Volume Price Mix Elaboration and Analysis
BOM audits and analysis
Perform Hourly and salary Payroll
Payroll Analysis including head count
Work with engineering department to determine head count
Audit and Compliance for Cost and Payroll activities
Other Ad-hoc reports
Scrap analysis
Validate projects from Continuous improvement departments
Other Activities associated with finance analysis
Education and Experience:
Accounting degree
3-5 years of experience strongly preferred in manufacturing environment
2 years working as cost accountant
Experience with account reconciliations
Ability to work with Mathematical concepts and financial information
Strong computer skills (Excel Macros/Word/Power Point)
Ability to pay attention to details
AS400/QAD hands on experience Preferably
Skills:
Standard costing knowledge
