Senior Business Systems Analyst

is looking for a dynamic and open-minded individualto join us as a Senior Business Systems Analyst capable of working with multiple domains.  

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst you will be working closely with all stakeholders to understand business requirements responsible for documenting the functional requirements technical specifications and template documentation designs for business needs. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills reporting skills and coordination skills. As a business systems analyst in your role will consist of providing support for incidents problems and changes. You will also be required to take on different business demands and project assignments and mentor the other BAs within the team. 

Responsibilities:

Act as a counterpart and sparring partner to business process owners and specialists aiding them in their decision making and building their trust and confidence. 

Own demands securing business requirements and provide solutions to the business that provide maximum value and at the same time aligned with IFS goals and strategy. 

Engage in project activities acting as a representative of and facilitate service transition from project to operations. 

Act as liaison between business stakeholders vendors management end users and the development team. 

Learn and understand business capabilities and functionality of various applications and integrations among them. 

Alongside translating business requirements into software requirements via functional specification writing developing specifications diagrams and flowcharts for developers to follow documenting and evaluating required data and information. 

Maintain close contact with stakeholders in design develop and implement solutions. 

Management of user stories that require development and product backlog. 

Document test cases. 

Test and validate solutions. 

Coach team members to a higher level of knowledge and mentor less experienced resources through training and knowledge sharing. 

Act as escalation for Support Team as well as third line support as required. 

Be able to explain the IT Support Process to any customer. 

Engage in IT Service delivery to continually improve the Services by providing active participation in assigned projects. 

Qualifications :

University degree or equivalent professional qualifications with a technology or business emphasis preferably Computer Science Business Information Systems or Business IT & Management. 

5 years of experience in the profession as a business analyst. 

Up-to-date and proven knowledge of and experience with Agile software development. 

Experience with an ITSM solution. 

Expertise with gathering and documenting requirements creating functional design specifications and interacting with business partners and technical resources at all levels of organizations. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 

Outstanding problem solving analytical and decision-making skills. 

Ability and interest in learning new applications and application interfaces. 

Ability to work with remote teams. 

Ability to handle diverse and complex work environment. 

Be energetic actively participate on day today activities and bring new ideas that will benefit the overall services provided. 

Be open to learn and adapt to new processes and methods. 

Ability to follow standard processes and procedures. 

Strong focus on the customer experience. 

Experience running workshops getting consensus and buy in on solutions that are right.
