Job Summary
We are looking for a talented professional who is passionate about creating memorable culinary experiences and developing a team of upcoming chefs. You will support the Kitchen team and ensuring our guests have memorable experiences when dining with us.
Key duties include:
- Preparation and cooking for buffet breakfast a la carte dinner room service and conferences and events
- Work closely with senior chefs to develop your culinary skills
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Help with food preparation plating and garnishing
- Learn and follow recipes contributing to the creation of new ones
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
Qualifications :
- Completion of a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary training in hot cold and dessert section is a plus
- Enthusiasm for cooking and a strong desire to learn and grow
- Ability to work well in a team and handle a fast-paced kitchen
- Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings nights weekends and holidays periods
