- Perform general and specialised cooking duties within the banquet kitchen
- Ensure all food produced is prepared in line with kitchen recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness hygiene and organisation within the kitchen and food outlets
- Support the kitchen team during banquet and event service operations
- Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen team members when required
- Contribute to a positive team environment while promoting flexibility and productivity within the kitchen
Qualifications :
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen role (banquet experience highly regarded)
- Experience working in high-volume kitchen environments
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight service deadlines
- Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Genuine passion for food hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
