Partnering closely with senior leaders this role drives people capability and culture initiatives that directly support commercial objectives and longterm growth. Youll be instrumental in building a futureready workforce through bestpractice talent acquisition leadership development workforce planning and performance frameworks while championing an outstanding employee experience across corporate teams.
A key focus of the role is fostering cultural consistency across geographically dispersed teams. This includes embedding organisational values strengthening communication and equipping leaders to create inclusive safe and highperforming workplaces. Youll also provide expert guidance on organisational design and change management ensuring the business remains agile and responsive in a fastmoving retail environment.
Using datadriven insights and strong stakeholder partnerships youll help create a workplace where people thrive and where the organisation continues to build its competitive edge within the convenience sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of people and culture processes including talent management employee engagement and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Change Management: Support organisational change initiatives providing guidance and support to leaders and employees throughout the process.
- Talent Management: Oversee talent development and retention strategies to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent.
- High Performance Culture: Manage employee engagement survey insights and action planning with leaders. Build leadership capability aligned to company conduct and behaviours. Support diversity and inclusion.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.
- P&C Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse P&C metrics providing regular reports to senior leadership on key people and culture indicators.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a people and culture role with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
