About the Role

Formed in 1882 Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nations most respected hospitals with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local statewide national and international communities.

The Medical Radiation Scientist performs medical imaging procedures and produces and archives diagnostic images within various work areas and modalities including the main Radiology Department.

Ideal Candidate

Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent holder of NSW EPA Radiation Licence IA14 and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Knowledge of computer literacy with Microsoft applications Radiology Information (RIS) PACS and Hospital information Systems.
Ability to organise workload to facilitate high patient output.
