SALARY:
$52143 - $70725 with benefits package

12 months 35 hours 260 days
Bargaining Unit: This position is part of the non-supervisory support services bargaining unit
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood or related field.
Three years minimum experience working with children age birth through kindergarten and their families.
Ability to work with various agencies and related service providers.
Clear understanding and use of Results Base Accountability.
Knowledge of Marylands Career and College Readiness Standards.
Ability and experience collecting and analyzing data to prepare in-depth analyses of findings and reports.
Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work well in group problem solving situations.
Experience with Microsoft Office Word Word Tables and Excel charts.
Excellent human relations oral and written communication skills.
Leadership skills and personal qualifications necessary to work successfully with students teachers administrators parents and the community.
Multi-language skills preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with a diverse population of families community partners and Wicomico County Public
School staff.
Coordinate outreach services and plan carry out and assist with home visits to Judy Center
families.
Participate in recruitment enrollment and maintaining data on families who enroll in the
program.
- Maintain database of all services provided attendance at events/programming and case management needs.
Advise families on services available through the Judy Center program or community partners.
- Supports families by assisting with resolving transportation childcare and other social concerns.
- Help families create and meet individual short-term and long-term dreams. Provides follow-up with families and inputs family data into a data tracking system. Makes referrals for needed services and follows up in a timely manner to ensure services aree received.
Develop strategies for increasing program visibility and expansions including community
outreach recruiting families and new family service partners.
- Collaborate with the site coordinator and partners for outreach activities events adult education and more that align with the Judy Center 5 Component Standards.
Plans and implements research/evidence-based playgroups for families with children birth
through age 4 utilizing state approved curriculum.
Facilitate the implementation of research/evidence-based home visiting program.
Participate in IFSP/IEP meetings as requested.
Regularly attend and participate in scheduled meetings with Head Start and other community partners: monthly service coordination meetings.
Attend Statewide Judy Center meetings/trainings.
Maintain confidentiality with regard to Judy Center families and Judy Center Staff.
Other related duties as assigned.
