Job Summary
Cedar Park Group is seeking a Journeyman Laborer with hands-on experience in laboratory medical industrial or R&D environments. This role supports facility and lab operations through safe material handling equipment moves and general labor duties in a secure setting with strict safety and respiratory protection requirements.
Schedule/Shift: MondayFriday 7:30 AM3:30 PM (7.5 hours/day)
Type: Full-time 2-year contract
Responsibilities
Lift move and position laboratory equipment up to 75 lbs safely and efficiently
Support site operations with general labor tasks including staging setup breakdown and material handling
Work safely at heights using ladders scaffolding and boom lifts (as needed)
Follow all security protocols and site-specific procedures in a secure facility
Wear and properly use required PPE including respiratory protection when applicable
Travel between assigned Albany-area sites and additional locations as needed
Requirements (Mandatory)
Journeyman Laborer status with 3 years of experience in a laboratory medical industrial or R&D setting
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 lbs
Must be respirator fit-tested
Ability to work from heights; experience operating ladders scaffolding and boom lifts
Experience working in a secure facility
Valid drivers license
Reliable transportation for travel between sites
