We have an exciting opportunity at nbn as Community Engagement Specialist for Regional Victoria reporting to Head of NBN Local- Victoria & Tasmania. This role requires candidate to be living in regional areas in Northeastern Victoria

A bit about your role

The nbn Community Engagement Specialist (CES) plays a key role within the Regional Development and Engagement team focusing on enhancing digital capability and infrastructure across regional Australia. The CES is responsible for engaging with communities stakeholders and local organisations to deliver programs campaigns and events that support digital inclusion emergency preparedness and regional development.

The role involves executing local strategies providing insights to influence national initiatives and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. Additionally the CES supports co-investment awareness drives service uptake and contributes to operational performance all while promoting a safety-first culture.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate will have good years of experience in stakeholder and community engagement preferably within regional rural or remote communities. They will possess strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences and influence a wide range of stakeholders.

The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a matrix environment and a solid understanding of telecommunications developments. A valid Australian drivers license is essential along with a commitment to safety and adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
