TechStaffers is recruiting for a Full-Stack Engineer for a remote position in the United States.
Our Client is disrupting the automotive industrya sector that traditionally has not been company has strong customer traction and is scaling its engineering team to capitalize on unique product opportunities. This role offers the opportunity to join a small high-impact team and directly influence the product roadmap and engineering culture from the ground up.
Role Overview:
The Full-Stack Engineer will be an autonomous product-minded contributor who thrives in ambiguous fast-paced startup environments. This role involves full ownership of features from concept through deployment. You will collaborate closely with the Co-Heads of Engineering to design build and ship high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end development of features from product design discussions to production deployment.
Perform full-stack development with approximately 50% frontend and 50% backend work.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate ambiguous business needs into technical solutions.
Write clean scalable and maintainable code while maintaining startup-level development speed.
Contribute to product decisions technical architecture and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications:
3 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (non-negotiable).
Experience designing implementing and maintaining relational databases.
Ability to work independently without heavy management oversight.
Comfortable making technical and product decisions with partial or evolving information.
Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications:
Strong experience with React.
Experience with TypeScript NestJS and AWS.
Previous experience as a Founder or early employee (e.g. first 50 employees) at a fast-growing startup.
Interest in or exposure to the automotive industry.
