Job Summary
Job Description: Proofreader at Bing Surfboards
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and proofread all written content for surfboards accessories apparel and gear products provided by Bing Surfboards
- Ensure that all content is free of grammatical errors spelling mistakes and typos
- Verify that the content is accurate and aligns with the brands tone and style guidelines
- Collaborate with the content creation team to make necessary edits and revisions
- Maintain a consistent voice and messaging across all materials
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a proofreader or editor
- Excellent command of the English language including grammar punctuation and spelling
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of style guides such as AP or Chicago Manual of Style
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in proofreading or editing roles
- Experience working in a related industry such as sports or lifestyle brands is a plus
- Experience using editing software or tools to enhance proofreading
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $60000 - $90000 per year
