Full Spectrum Search Group is partnering with a well-established hospice organization to recruit a Director of Business Development (DBD) for the Los Angeles market. This role is responsible for driving referral growth strengthening community relationships and expanding the organizations presence in a highly competitive healthcare market.
Role Overview
The Director of Business Development will lead field-based business development efforts across Los Angeles working closely with executive and clinical leadership to grow census through ethical relationship-driven sales. This role requires a strong understanding of hospice referral dynamics and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Field-based role covering the greater Los Angeles area
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage referral relationships with hospitals physicians SNFs and community partners
- Drive consistent referral volume through face-to-face outreach and relationship management
- Represent the organization professionally in the local healthcare community
- Collaborate with executive directors and clinical leadership to align growth efforts with care delivery
- Track activity and referral performance using established CRM and reporting tools
- Maintain a compliant ethical approach to hospice business development
Qualifications
- Prior hospice or healthcare business development experience required
- Strong understanding of the Los Angeles healthcare referral landscape
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term referral relationships
- Comfort working in a field-based performance-driven role
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership
