Job Title: Azure Platform Engineer
Location: Alpharetta GA - Onsite (Monday Friday)
Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Platform Engineer to lead the design implementation and optimization of enterprise-grade cloud and infrastructure solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise across cloud platforms containerization networking security and data integration with a strong focus on performance reliability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design implementation and maintenance of robust and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
Optimize infrastructure performance troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure architecture with enterprise business goals.
Conduct regular system audits capacity planning and performance reviews.
Provide recommendations for upgrades modernization and continuous improvement.
Stay current with emerging infrastructure technologies tools and best practices.
Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.
Mandatory Skills & Experience (Required):
10 years of combined experience in cloud infrastructure design management and leadership.
7 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms:
Azure (primary)
AWS and/or GCP
7 years of experience with containerization and orchestration:
Docker
Kubernetes
Azure App Services
7 years of experience in performance tuning and optimization with a focus on:
Network latency
Routing
Geo-replication
7 years of experience implementing and managing infrastructure security solutions:
Radware
F5
7 years of experience managing data integration and ETL processes including:
Azure Synapse
Microsoft Fabric
Strong knowledge of enterprise networking monitoring and high-availability architectures.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Terraform
Experience with infrastructure scaling technologies and distributed systems.
Automation and scripting experience for infrastructure management.
