We are currently looking for a Language Quality & AI Specialist to join our Language Talent this role you will own and operate language quality processes across projects and technologies while working closely with the Global Head of Language Talent on quality strategy frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.
Tasks
As a Language Quality & AI Specialist you will be responsible for the full language quality lifecycle across human and AI-assisted workflows including:
- Evaluating linguistic quality using industry-established frameworks and standards (e.g. LISA MQM ISO 18587 ISO 17100 ISO 5060 including client-specific scorecards).
- Managing and assessing client and internal feedback cases ensuring objective consistent and well-documented quality control decisions.
- Designing maintaining and improving validation and evaluation workflows across multiple TMS platforms and MT/AI engines.
- Supporting a risk-based quality approach by defining and applying quality tiers costs based on content type sensitivity and business impact.
- Work closely with the Global Head of Language Talent to prepare structured quality analyses and feedback reports for linguists internal stakeholders and clients.
- Acting as a language quality point of reference for key clients by contributing to style guides terminology bases onboarding materials and quality guidelines.
- Collaborating closely with the Client Solutions & Support team as well as linguist teams to align quality expectations workflows and improvement actions.
- Tracking and adhering to quality KPIs identifying trends and root causes and proposing data-driven improvements and AI-enabled workflows.
Requirements
Essential:
- Fluency in English.
- Global language awareness and competency of i18n l10n g11n across cultures and markets. Strong understanding of linguistic principles and genuine curiosity about how languages function including those not personally spoken.
- Linguistic education (Translation Language or Linguistic studies).
- 3 years of experience in a language quality ownership role in localization industry.
- Practical knowledge of language technology MT and AI-assisted language production including how to evaluate outputs and train systems for quality risk mitigation and fitness for purpose.
- Strong analytical documentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and set priorities.
- High attention to detail objectivity and consistency in quality assessment.
Strong advantage:
- Additional languages.
- Experience working with multiple language platforms MT engines AI tools and LLM data in a localization context.
- Exposure to risk-based or tiered quality models depending on content type and business impact.
- Experience supporting diverse content types (technical marketing product software).
