Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) Call Center Agent Education and Compliance
Arizona Department of Revenue (AZDOR) Phoenix AZ (Remote after Orientation)
- Respond to inbound calls from taxpayers regarding individual and business tax compliance delinquency and general information.
- Resolve Tier 1 level customer issues review and update taxpayer accounts as needed.
- Accurately verify gather and input information using multiple computer systems.
- Educate taxpayers on available online resources and current tax laws and policies.
- Submit payment arrangement requests on behalf of taxpayers.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all customer interactions and actions taken.
- Participate in team engagement initiatives and consistently meet performance goals.
- Utilize strong multitasking communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Google Workspace; apply basic math skills as needed.
- Engage with professionalism courtesy and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
- Attend and complete a critical 3-week training period prior to remote work.
- Must meet residency background and technical requirements for remote work eligibility.
- Spanish language skills and call center experience in finance banking or insurance industries are preferred.
- Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred) and at least two recent consecutive years of call center experience.
