Job Title: Surveyors - Bridge Construction

Job Summary

We are looking to engage experienced Surveyors with strong expertise in bridge construction projects to support ongoing and upcoming infrastructure developments. The successful candidates will be responsible for precise surveying setting out measurement and monitoring activities to ensure all bridge works are executed in accordance with approved designs and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Perform setting out and surveying works for bridge construction projects
Establish verify and maintain horizontal and vertical control points
Carry out leveling alignment checks and dimensional verification of bridge structures
Interpret construction drawings alignment data and technical specifications
Monitor construction progress and provide accurate survey data to site teams
Conduct as-built surveys and prepare detailed survey reports
Ensure accuracy in measurements for piers abutments decks and other bridge components
Maintain surveying equipment and ensure proper calibration
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to resolve site-related issues
Ensure compliance with project quality standards safety regulations and technical requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma HND or BSc in Surveying Geomatics Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 7 years of relevant experience with proven involvement in bridge construction projects
Strong knowledge of setting out leveling and alignment works
Proficiency in surveying instruments such as Total Station GPS and Auto Level
Ability to read and interpret bridge design drawings and specifications
High level of accuracy attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to work on-site and meet project deadlines

Added Advantage

Experience on major road and bridge infrastructure projects
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D for survey drawings
Professional certification or membership with a recognized surveying body
