Remote or On-site: Accepting local candidates and non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expenses with no delays. Position will be hybrid in office 2 days a week upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option.

Job Summary:

The Application Development Associate is responsible for designing building testing and supporting both new and existing software applications including Mobile app for child support. This role plays a key part in developing program modules and providing reliable production support for designated applications or systems. The associate collaborates closely with Application Architects Business Analysts and other team members to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design build and test application programs including new development and enhancements to existing modules.
Maintains Child Support Mobile app which is a COTS product.
Provide production support including issue analysis bug fixes testing and deployment to production environments.
Collaborate with Application Architects and Business Analysts to confirm and validate both functional and technical designs.
Develop and maintain necessary technical documentation and participate in design reviews as scheduled.
Analyze requirements code and test simple to moderately complex program modules ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications.
Apply sound technical industry and domain knowledge to all tasks and project work.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in coding practices system performance and team processes.

Required Skills & Technologies:

Java Strong object-oriented programming skills and familiarity with Java-based enterprise application development.
