As an IT Support Intern you will play a vital role in assisting our IT department with various tasks including troubleshooting technical issues providing support to employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. We offer a competitive hourly salary range of $26 - $33 along with valuable learning experiences that will set the foundation for your future career in IT.
Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Provide technical support to employees via phone email and in-person
- Help maintain and update IT documentation and inventory
- Set up and configure new computer systems and peripherals
- Assist with software installations and updates
- Monitor and respond to IT support requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on various projects
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IT initiatives
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Basic understanding of computer systems networks and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Desire to learn and grow in the IT field
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in customer service is a plus
