Release Manager
JOB MISSION
As part of the Support team they oversee the coordination of the teams under their responsibility prioritize interventions to ensure a high level of service in compliance with SLAs and support their teams in acquiring skills while ensuring adherence to contractual SLAs.
JOB OBJECTIVES
Key Responsibilities
Review and govern all deliveries to the client from project and support teams
Ensure deliveries meet agreed scope quality standards and release timelines
Plan coordinate and execute end-to-end product releases across environments
Act as the single point of coordination between Product Project QA Support and Client teams
Own and manage the defect backlog including prioritization and tracking to closure
Lead weekly defect review and status calls with clients ensuring transparency and alignment
Execute validate and troubleshoot PL/SQL deployment and data-fix scripts
Perform release and validation activities on UNIX/Linux environments
Maintain release documentation deployment plans and release notes
Identify delivery risks dependencies and mitigation plans proactively
Support rollback planning post-release validation and production stabilization
Drive continuous improvement in release governance delivery tracking and defect management processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in Release Management Delivery Governance or Production Support
Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL (script execution validation troubleshooting)
Good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and environments
Experience managing defect backlogs using tools like JIRA
Strong client-facing experience including leading review and status calls
Good understanding of SDLC change management and release best practices
Excellent coordination communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release automation tools
Knowledge of ITIL / change and incident management process
