Duration: Long term contract (Possibility of further extension)

Pay Rate: $80/hr on W2 DOE

Seeking a hands-on Senior Systems Engineer to drive end-to-end integration of next-generation diagnostic systems spanning sequencing workflows instrumentation and data/bioinformatics pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead system-level integration across sample prep library prep sequencing/PCR and data pipelines
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of sequencing and molecular workflows
Partner with assay software hardware and bioinformatics teams on end-to-end performance
Define system requirements architecture and integration plans
Apply DoE and statistical analysis (JMP ANOVA regression)
Plan and execute verification & validation (V&V) testing
Support post-launch investigations and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

Degree in Systems Bioengineering or Biomedical Engineering (or related)
Senior-level industry experience:

PhD 5 yrs MS 10 yrs BS 10 yrs

Hands-on experience with sequencing workflows (NA extraction library prep sequencing)
Strong troubleshooting experience in sequencing and PCR-based workflows
Required experience with statistical tools / DoE

Preferred

Bioinformatics or sequencing data pipelines (QC variant calling)
Life sciences instrumentation / IVD product development
Digital PCR microfluidics or semiconductor-based sensing
Python or R scripting
