Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for a reliable detail-oriented and independent Housekeeper to support a professional family of two residing in a modern three-bedroom apartment in Whitechapel London. The principals have no children or pets and are seeking a trustworthy professional who can take full ownership of the day-to-day cleanliness and organisation of their home maintaining it to a consistently high standard.

Working as a professional Housekeeper in a private household requires a pro-active and self-sufficient approach strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent results. This role will suit an experienced Housekeeper who enjoys working independently and managing all aspects of household cleaning and upkeep. Typical duties include regular and periodic deep cleaning careful laundry and clothing care managing household supplies and liaising with contractors when required ensuring the property is always presented impeccably.

This is a live-out position based in Whitechapel London and the apartment is easily accessible by public transport. The area benefits from excellent transport links making the role convenient to commute to from many parts of London with underground and bus connections close by.

Working Days: Working hours may be split over two to four days per week on agreement with the housekeeper. Both weekdays and weekends are possible

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:

• Carrying out regular and periodic deep cleaning of the apartment including all bathrooms and the kitchen ensuring exceptionally high standards at all times.
  
• General cleaning and tidying throughout the home including vacuuming and mopping floors detailed dusting of surfaces skirting boards and hard-to-reach areas.
  
• Cleaning interior windows on a regular schedule as well as scheduled fridge and oven cleaning.
  
• Cleaning and caring for sofa and couch materials in line with manufacturers guidelines.
  
• Managing all aspects of laundry and clothing care including washing drying ironing or steaming folding and putting items away neatly.
  
• Providing general clothing maintenance such as lint-rolling garments and ensuring items are kept in excellent condition.
  
• Monitoring household supplies keeping essential items well-stocked and purchasing supplies when required.
  
• Liaising with and overseeing contractors such as plumbers or other trades when necessary ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
  

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:

• Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
  
• Two excellent checkable references.
  
• Conversational English.
  
• UK working permit.
