Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings.

Over the last few years the Hotel has undergone major renovations in the bedrooms restaurant residents lounge sports bar and all public areas. This year we will starting our new and opulent spa and state-of-the-art leisure areas as well as our new meeting rooms and additional 17 bedrooms. The leisure facilities opening later this year with the new spa bedrooms and meeting space opening 2026

Main duties and purpose of the role:

To support the Food and Beverage outlets including our 80 cover Elements with its round central bar serving rosette level food Chartwell our 3 Rosette fine dining restaurant Squadron Bar our Hotel residents lounge Bunkers Sports Bar and Salus Cafe. Elements Restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast lunch and dinner. Chartwell is open currently 4 days a week for dinner and afternoon tea. Squadron Bar is open for residents and none residents 7 days a week serving a selection of drinks and light meals.

• Supporting the Food and Beverage Management team is any outlet they require
• The ability to manage motivate & delegate tasks to your team.
• To carry duty management shifts in the Estate.
• To support other Food and Beverage outlets when required.
• Train and develop team in the Food and Beverage Outlets
• Work to the department standards of service
• To ensure the team can manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure target KPIs including guest spend and guest satisfaction scores are met.
• To ensure all relevant legislation compliance and procedures in employment law health and safety food safety liquor licencing is followed by all the team at all times.
• Support the departmental induction of new starters and ensure they are fully competent in the role.
• Support any training plan thats are implemented based on guests feedback personal and colleagues observation.
• Ensure consumable food liquor is maintained at a level suitable for the business.
• Control all costs through payroll and stock control.
• To assist the management team in monitoring Liquor stocks and ensure orders are places in a timely manner.
