Key job responsibilities
Monitor site performance against set KPIs and create plans to improve processes
Set up workplace health and safety programmes and arrange training sessions
Analyse safety metrics and incident trends to help colleagues plan appropriate resources for areas with the highest risk
Carry out audits to make sure your site is compliant with relevant health and safety laws and implement solutions where you identify risks
A day in the life
Youll be in one or several of our Delivery Stations. Being on site means that you can keep a close eye on the processes. As well as helping us stay on top of health and safety compliance youll spot potential issues and identify opportunities for improvement. That means working closely with people across the business to get to know the risks they experience and gathering data to identify smarter and safer ways that we can work.
About the team
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) plays a crucial role in keeping our people mentally and physically well at work. Our team works with managers associates and local governments across our sites making sure were complying with Amazons policies and legal regulations and that our workplaces are safe.
No matter what your role is youll play a part in developing implementing and upholding our high safety and wellbeing standards. You could work on a variety of projects alongside colleagues from across the business ranging from equipment and process inspections to assessing processes building and equipment design.
- A degree or diploma in a health and safety-related subject or an engineering degree with modules in Environment Health and Safety legislation
- ASPP/RSPP qualification
- Understanding of Italian Health and Safety legislation
- Advanced proficiency in Italian and English
- Knowledge and/or experience of Lean 5S or Kaizen methodologies
