Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide quality care and support to clients in Jackson MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor clients health and report any changes to healthcare professionals
- Assist with medication reminders
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate patient and reliable
- Basic knowledge of health and safety guidelines
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred
