Responsibilities

• Patient population: women needing gynecologic surgical and medical oncology services

• Inpatient: The APP acts as the first assist in the OR. The APPis responsible for: independent rounding on patients in the acute post operative phase who are admitted to the hospital post-operative wound care and pain managementtimelycollaboration with consulting physicians coordinating discharge from the hospital evaluating new consults.

• OR: Support as surgical first assist laparoscopic and robotic surgical support whenindicated.

• Outpatient: Evaluates new and existing patients in collaboration with staff physicians as well as multidisciplinary team completes outpatient documentation ina timelyfashion performsclinic procedures as applicable. Manages the surgical and medical oncology needs of the gyn oncologic patient.

• Masters Degree

Experience

• Surgical Experience Required

• First Assist Experience Preferred

• Robotic Experience a plus

License and Certification

• Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant Required

• Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Required
