Pricing Assistant

Your role and responsibilities

As a Pricing Assistant you support the Pricing and Market Intelligence (MI) Analysts in assigning market-oriented prices to our customers. You play a key role in ensuring accurate pricing data efficient price setting and smooth operation of pricing systems.

Pricing data & analysis
You collect assess prepare and process (recurring) pricing and market intelligence data as well as straightforward analyses in the assigned systems. You work according to set guidelines and ensure pricing data and analyses are complete correct and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

Price setting
You determine and set the correct sales prices and terms at item level based on pricing logic and predefined pricing parameters. This is done in line with the pricing strategy of the TVH Group and the commercial profit and margin targets of the designated region market or category.

Ad hoc pricing support
You handle ad hoc pricing requests from salespeople buyers representatives and branches. When prices are not automatically generated you calculate the sales price and adjust the required parameters in the system.

Pricing systems
You use relevant pricing systems to verify the accuracy of information and resolve system errors. You identify issues report them to your pricing colleagues and contribute to the further optimization of the automated pricing system.

Reporting
You create standardized periodic reports (both quantitative and qualitative) according to defined formats and procedures ensuring stakeholders have the necessary information to make or prepare decisions.

Administrative support
You provide administrative support to the pricing team by uploading promotional prices into the system and preparing analyses and presentations.

Continuous improvement & projects
You signal and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in pricing market intelligence and related processes and systems. You assist in drafting improvement plans and contribute to a more effective and efficient automated pricing system. You also participate in assigned projects in line with project management guidelines to support business needs and priorities.

Personal capability building
You continuously update and maintain your expertise to further develop your own capabilities and support the effective operation of the Pricing and Market Intelligence department.

Your profile

• You hold a bachelors degree in an economic field or have equivalent experience.

• You have a very good command of English.

• You enjoy working in an administratively supportive role.

• You are analytically strong have logical reasoning skills and a commercial mindset.

• You work independently and take initiative.

• You are a communicative flexible and proactive team player.

• Routine tasks do not deter you.

• You work in a structured manner are PC-minded and highly accurate.

• You are willing to participate in on-call duty rotations.
