Our client asmall but growing manufacturing companyin Aberdeen MD is looking for a detail-orientedStaff Accountantto join their team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on working closely with leadership and growing with a stable organization .

About the Role

As the Staff Accountant youll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end close activities. Youll partner closely with the Controller and contribute directly to leadership reporting and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the general ledger

Prepare and post journal entries

Perform bank reconciliations

Support cost accounting in a manufacturing environment

Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Process bi-weekly payroll for 25 employees

Assist with month-end close activities

Prepare financial reports for leadership

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships

What Theyre Looking For

3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)

Solid understanding of general ledger and cost accounting

Experience withQuickBooks

StrongExcelskills

Payroll and AP/AR experience

Detail-oriented organized and comfortable working onsite
