Job Summary
Details:
Key Responsibilities
Daily P&L & Exposure Reporting: Produce and validate daily P&L and exposure for multiple commodities (crude gasoline distillates fuel oil renewables NGLs).
P&L Attribution: Break down and explain P&L drivers market impacts and risk movements.
Trade Validation: Verify trade capture accuracy; work with front office and operations to resolve mismatches.
Curve & Pricing Checks: Validate pricing inputs and market curves to ensure consistency and correct valuation.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with trading scheduling accounting and risk teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Process Improvement: Help automate and standardize reporting; contribute to system enhancements dashboards and analytical tools.
Controls & Compliance: Maintain strong governance practices and support regulatory requirements.
Team Support: Provide cross-coverage across products/regions and mentor junior analysts.
Financial Reporting Alignment: Coordinate with FP&A to ensure MTM P&L is consistent with GAAP reporting.
Technical Requirements
Advanced Excel (must-have)
Proficiency with ETRM systems: SAP OpenLink/Endur Allegro FIS
Power BI familiarity; Python/SQL is a bonus
