Full-Time Multi-Site Business Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)
Toowoomba QLD No Weekends Leadership Growth Opportunity
We are seeking a people-focused and motivated Multi-Site Business Manager to join our team on a full-time maternity leave contract supporting Toowoomba Veterinary Hospital and Gatton Veterinary Surgery.
This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager looking to broaden their impact across multiple sites or for a senior veterinary nurse or people leader ready to step into practice management with the right support and development.
We recognise the strong value that prior Practice Manager experience can bring; however we are equally open to supporting the development of a capable leader with the right mindset initiative and commitment to learning.
About the Role
Working closely with veterinarians and the leadership team you will oversee the day-to-day operations of two clinics ensuring smooth efficient and consistent performance across both sites. The role offers exposure to people leadership operational management and commercial decision-making in a supportive collaborative environment.
Importantly this is a full-time role with no weekend work offering genuine worklife balance.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and supporting nursing reception and support teams across two clinics
Coordinating staff rostering performance management and team development
Overseeing clinic operations policies and procedures
Managing financial activities including budgets KPIs and reporting
Supporting recruitment onboarding and staff engagement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards
Fostering a positive inclusive and high-performing team culture
About You
Demonstrated leadership experience ideally within a veterinary or healthcare setting is appreciated but not essential
A proactive learner with a growth mindset and openness to development
Confident communicator with strong organisational and time-management skills
Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multiple sites
Commercially aware or motivated to build capability in budgeting and KPIs
Passionate about team development and delivering exceptional client care
