Job Summary
The Intern in Accounting will be able to perform one or more accounting activities in the areas of AP and GL including but not restricted to :
- Perform payments and reconciliation
- Process invoices and follow up for inconsistencies
- Perform transitory accounts reconciliation and uploads
- Post bank statements and journals
- Perform reconciliations between sub- and main-ledger
- Create/modify fixed assets and run depreciation
- Business correspondence on accounting activities
Qualifications :
Education:
- Student or graduate in Business or Accounting
Experience:
- First experience in an accounting department
Skills:
- Good knowledge of accounting processes
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Independent worker and team player
- Ability to deal with numerous deadlines simultaneously / Multi-tasking
- Familiarity and ease with varying IT and online software and applications.
- Knowledge of local GAAP is a plus
- Basic knowledge of major internal control procedures
- Experience with SAP S4/Hana is a plus
- Controlling/tax skills/knowledge is a plus
Languages :
- Fluent in French
- Fluent in English
- Italian nice to have
