Youll play a vital role in guiding them through their stay; from smooth check-ins and check-outs to sharing local tips on attractions and eateries leaving a lasting impression with your superb customer service and positive energy.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide a warm and friendly reception to guests upon arrival ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process while addressing any immediate inquiries or needs.
- Maintain clear and courteous communication with guests colleagues and stakeholders across various channels including in-person phone and email to provide exceptional service.
- Oversee the accurate processing of guest reservations updates and special requests utilising property management systems to ensure seamless scheduling and availability.
- Act as a primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay offering prompt assistance resolving issues and providing personalised recommendations to enhance their experience.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Dual role covering Night Manager and Guest Service Agent
- Part-time position minimum 16 hours per week
- Two-night shifts and two-day shifts per week (subject to change)
- Day shifts: variable hours depending on business needs
- Night shifts: 11:00pm 7:30am
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in supervising teams within a hotel front office environment with proven leadership and staff development capabilities.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations across front office housekeeping food and beverage and guest services.
- Extensive background in hospitality ideally in hotel or resort settings with a focus on maintaining exceptional guest service standards.
- Experience in cash handling daily reconciliations night audit processes and revenue reporting.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain professional and positive in high-pressure situations.
- Awareness of workplace health and safety protocols compliance standards and security procedures relevant to hotel operations.
- Impeccable presentation and a polished professional image reflecting the standards of the organisation.
- Fully committed to a dynamic work schedule including the ability to work weekends public holidays and varying shifts to meet operational requirements.
