Link4 is a well-known eInvoicing company that is seeking Auckland based BDM.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with organizations to build
new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong
communication skills. You should be able to think critically when making plans and have a
demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales of eInvoicing
services to Central Government Departments and their suppliers along with Government
You will be responsible for lead generation and lead qualification activities but may have
support from other team members at times.
You will generate new leads from your contacts and through consultative conversations.
This is a largely autonomous role where you will be provided with the necessary tools of the
trade training and support of the Link4 team.
Mix of cold and warm outbound calls
Booking appointments to meet face-to-face where possible
Full sales cycle from initial call through to closing the deal
Demonstrations of the solution and key features
Sales reporting to management
All administration in relation to the role
Requirements
High level communication skills - written and verbal
Demonstrated experience in a B2B SaaS sales related role
Understanding of the procurement process for Central Government - highly regarded
Previous experience within the finance or accounting sector - highly regarded
Strong personal presentation skills
Ability to work autonomously
Strong understanding of AP and AR
Understanding of eInvoicing - highly regarded
Consultative sales approach
Strong listening and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated driven and a self-starter
Ability to engage at C Level
