CAD Specialist II

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Specialist with strong AutoCAD 3D expertise to join our dynamic engineering team in Savannah Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating with civil site engineers and designing complex port and marine facilities. This role is critical in supporting the development of innovative efficient and sustainable infrastructure solutions for waterfront and maritime projects.  Position is located at our Savannah Georgia office. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for marine and port facility projects.
• Collaborate closely with civil site engineers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare layouts schematics and construction documentation for various marine structures including docks piers terminals and related infrastructure.
• Review and interpret engineering plans specifications and survey data to create precise designs.
• Maintain and organize CAD files ensuring adherence to company standards and industry best practices.
• Assist in design revisions and provide technical support throughout project lifecycle.

Qualifications :

Minimum: 

• BA/BS 
• 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Experience and provident in AutoCAD 3D

Preferred: 

• Proficient in civil site design principles 
• Experience working on projects involving ports harbors and waterfront facilities or similar type building sites.
• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experienced in attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in communication and teamwork work environment skills.
• Knowledge of local codes and standards for civil projects.
