Job Summary
As a Restaurant Hostess you should be providing accurate wait times and escorting guests to the dining and bar areas. For this role you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and warmly welcoming guests as they arrive at our restaurant providing personalized attention and ensuring their immediate comfort.
- Assisting guests with seating arrangements taking into account their preferences and any special requirements they may have.
- Take care of the guest and ensure the cleanliness of their tables.
- Ensure all the relevant procedures are adhered during the operations at a consistent manner.
- Knowledgeable of the resort outlets promotions/opening hours and other guest related information.
- Monitor and record guest movements in the outlet.
Qualifications :
- Energetic with a positive personality and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent team player committed and hardworking.
- Can work with a team with minimum supervision.
- Previous experience in food & beverage or restaurant operations
- Excellent guest service skills with a strong customer-focused attitude
- Superior English language proficiency both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
- Proficiency in using reservation management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for managing reservations and table assignments
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move continuously during shifts
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality is a plus
