Team:

Emerging Technology Group (ETG) is ServiceNows DT internal incubation group. Being customer zero for ServiceNow products we ensure the products works for us internally and delivers value as it gets in hands of our customers. With AI everywhere we are responsible for advance technology services which cuts across the enterprise like Search Conversational Interfaces Automation and helping our DT developers to be productivity to build enterprise grade products on ServiceNow Platform. We are focused on accelerating innovations and developing new concepts forward-thinking solutions and products leveraging ServiceNows Intelligent platform. 

What you get to do in this role: 

• Build high-quality clean scalableand reusable code by enforcing bestpractices around softwareengineering architecture andprocesses (Code Reviews Unittesting etc.)
• Work with the productowners to understand detailedrequirements and own your codefrom design implementation testautomation and delivery of high-quality product to ourusers.
• Design softwarethat is simple touse to allow customers toextend and customize thefunctionality to meet their specific needs
• Incubate new product ideas by building POCs and scalable solutions directly on the ServiceNow platform while enhancing and evolving existing products

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry
• 2-5 years of software engineering experience with Java or asimilar OO language
• Full-stack development capabilities with strong backend expertise and proficiency in modern UI frameworks (Angular React or Vue).
• Passion for JavaScript and the Web asa platform reusability andcomponentization
• Experience with data structuresalgorithms object-oriented designdesign patterns andperformance/scale considerations
• Experience with any of the modern UIframeworks like Angular React or Vue
• Good Analytical design and communication skills
• Working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE debugger build tools source control ServiceNow instances profilers system administration/Unix tools)

FD21

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $123500 - $191500 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
