Responsibilities
Verifies insurance and initiates the precertification process of patients admission.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. Two (2) years experience in insurance verification pre- certification billing OR related insurance position or equivalent education computer skills and effective communication skills. 2. Ability to work independently. 3. Good communication skills and basic typing ability.
PREFERRED:
1. Three (3) years prior experience in insurance verification or related insurance position. 2. Two (2) years of college with an emphasis in Business. 3. Completed medical terminology course.
