Position Summary
The Draughtsperson plays a critical role in supporting engineering and project teams by producing detailed technical drawings from 3d Models provided by Senior designer / Engineer. Basic 3d modeling skills would be a benefit. Understanding Working within an EPCM environment the Draughtsperson collaborates closely with engineers designers and project managers to ensure accurate timely and compliant design outputs across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings plans and layouts in accordance with the engineers specifications.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards codes and company procedures.
- Review and revise drawings in response to feedback design changes or project requirements.
- Maintain drawing documentation version control and proper file management.
- Collaborate closely with design engineering and construction teams to resolve design or drawing-related issues.
- Prepare material take-offs schedules and other supporting documentation as required.
- Ensure accuracy attention to detail and timely completion of assigned work.
Requirements:
- T1 or N4.
- 5 years experience required as minimum.
- 10 years or more experience is advantages.
- Strong background in mineral processing environment.
- Knowledge of software packages: Inventor AutoCad 3D & 2D
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
