Role Overview:

This includes the impact from the 330000 older adults hospitalized globally each year with RSVthe approximately1 in 3 people who will develop shingles in their lifetimeand the 3-11% of people infected with seasonal influenza each year. Our portfolio will reach over 1 billion people globally this decade. Each year about 40% of children globally receive a GSK vaccine and GSK is well-placed to lead in the growing adult immunization market. GSKs US vaccines business is designed to support the unique needs of the customer base in the given geography. There are multiple customer-facing roles each with unique customers/call points but all dependent upon a high degree of collaboration.

Position Summary:

The Hybrid Immunization Specialist (IS) plays a pivotal role in drivinghealthcare provider(HCP)engagement and vaccine uptake acrossAdult andPediatriccustomers. The IS educates HCPsand theirofficestaffon disease prevention and GSKs vaccine portfolio effectively communicating clinical value and supporting vaccination goals. The role requires strong customer engagement skills scientific fluency and the ability to translate clinical data into meaningful conversations that drive immunization impact. The ISHwillreport to the Vaccine Sales Directorcollaborate closely with field and account leadership roles (e.g. Vaccine Account Manager Vaccine Account Director Vaccine Account Lead Vaccine Sales Lead National Account Lead) to ensure coordinated and compliant execution.

Responsibilities:

Drive HCP Demand and Communicate Product Value

  • Engage HCPs acrosspediatric internal medicine familypracticeand health departmentsto communicate the clinical value and benefits of GSK vaccines using approved materials.

  • Build andmaintaindeepexpertisein vaccine therapeutic areasGSKproductsand competitors

  • Supportpeer-to-peereducational programs conventions and speaker events to enhance vaccine awareness and recommendation

Customer Engagement andPull through

  • Tailor engagement strategies based on local practice dynamics andHCP/accountneeds

  • Ensure pull throughacross pediatric and adult segments for both private and public vaccination including stocking in-officevaccinationand/or a strong referral process

  • Partner withVaccineAccount Managersto drive productpull throughwithinPublic Awardees HealthSystemsand othercontracted accounts following customer engagement guidelinesas provided by customers or Account Managers

  • Influence the uptake of publicly funded vaccinesby engaging withHCPs/staff andhealth department& VFC programmanagers and develop knowledge of theirimmunization goalsandfunding cycles

  • Support accounts with their ordering and inventory management needs as appropriate

  • Work with Account managers to appropriately educate/communicate HCPs/staff on HS policies

  • Identifyand address barriers to contract execution andutilization providing actionable feedback

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Barrier Resolution

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Market Access Medical Affairs Account Teams) to ensure aligned and compliant execution.

  • Helpidentifyand address barriers to vaccine accessreimbursementor workflow integration

  • Provideactionable field insights to inform local strategyoptimizeresources and enhance execution.

Operational Excellence and Compliance

  • Uphold GSKs standards for compliant high-quality customer engagement in line with company policies and healthcare regulations.

  • Participate in business reviews and team huddlestoassess progress andidentifyopportunities

  • MaintainaccurateCRM documentation and activity recordspercompliance and field standards

Success Metrics & Key Performance indicators:

  • Commercial Results: Achieve assignedterritorysalesimmunizationratesand market share targets

  • Key Activity metrics:Activity metrics ( reach frequency)progress on Good Selling Outcomesutilizationof keyeducational assets

  • 100% compliance with documentation in CRM systemsand GSK policies

  • Completion of selling excellence and product related trainingprograms and modules

Why you

BasicQualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Minimum 2 years of business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience

  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary

  • Valid drivers licenseand willingness todrive (essential function of this role)

  • The selected candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience

    • Immunization Specialist (grade 8): Minimum 2 years business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience

    • Senior Immunization Specialist (grade 7): 5 years business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of vaccines sales experience

  • Strongtrack recordof high-level performance and consistent achievements

  • Strong account-selling skills including business-to-business experience ina healthcare

  • Demonstratedcompetency of science business acumen and customer engagement

  • Knowledge and experience in ahealthcaresetting

  • Demonstrated learning agility

Key Skills/Competencies:

  • Advanced business acumen and analytical skills to diagnose opportunities

  • Self-directed and organized with the ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment

  • Impact and influence withcustomersto mobilize action plans

  • Ability to quicklyidentifyissues and develop recommendations fortimely compliant resolution

Location:This is a field-based percentage of travel will bedeterminedbycustomerlocation in relation to the geographic location of the successful candidate.
