CivilRoadway Engineering Specialist

Our Austin TX office has an immediate opportunity for a Civil/Roadway Engineering Specialist to join our Roadway Design Team. This position is well-suited for an early-career engineer seeking hands-on experience supporting transportation and infrastructure projects throughout Central Texas and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and review of roadway highway and site development projects

• Support roadway geometrics modeling and cross-section development

• Contribute to grading drainage and stormwater management design

• Assist with erosion and sediment control plans

• Support traffic control plans traffic studies and signalization layouts

• Prepare signing pavement marking and utility coordination plans

• Assist with preparation of plans specifications estimates (PS&E) and schematic design documents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• 04 years of relevant roadway or civil engineering experience preferred

• Successful completion of the FE exam / Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification

• Experience or exposure to MicroStation OpenRoads Designer InRoads/GEOPAK Microsoft Office; AutoCAD a plus

• Active participation in professional societies encouraged

• Ability to perform essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safety
