An excellent opportunity exists for an ANUM position for our Level 5 Surgical Services Department at St VincentsPrivateHospital Sydney. If you are ready to take on the next challenge in leadership and management please apply.

This position is for a 12-month fixed maternity leave cover to start mid 2026.

About you:

  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical risk management frameworks and quality principles and proven ability to apply these in the private hospital setting;

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage complex situations involving doctors patients and staff in a professional manner and determine an appropriate course of action;

  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills with previous experience in developing high quality business plans presentations and strategic documentation;

  • Have the ability to understand and monitor performance and compliance with agreed key performance indicators;

  • High level computer literacy with experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic clinical and administrative applications used by health services.

Requirements
As an outstanding Associate Nurse Unit Manager you are equipped with the following skills:

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

  • Senior RN with acute clinical/ surgical management experience.

  • Postgraduate (Desirable) or working towards.
