Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Accountant to join our team in Sacramento. We are in search of individuals who are passionate diligent and dedicated to ensuring top-notch client service both internally and externally. The Project Accountants primaryresponsibility is to support the project team regarding contract compliance work authorizations work authorization modifications payments reports and any other related duties. This position reports to the Controller and Partners.
Required Skills:
- Review contracts and agreements to ensure that all financial terms and conditions are effectively managed.
- Monitor project progress track and manage costs and investigate variances.
- Assist Project Managers with project plans schedules and workflows.
- Keep project files organized & accessible and create & update documentation.
- Process vendor & subcontractor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and within assigned timeline.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Assist Controller with payment collection.
- Maintain records regarding costs and project-related expenses.
- Communicate with subcontractors & vendors on billing requirements.
- Liaise with client to identify and define requirements scope and objectives.
- Assist with project closeout upon contract completion.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
- Other related duties as assigned or needed.
