Salary: 85105 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a warm enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Early Years team in a primary school or nursery setting within Ealing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys supporting young children during their most important formative years.
As an EYFS TA you will work alongside class teachers and Early Years practitioners to support children aged 35 years helping them to develop socially emotionally and academically in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging play-based learning activities
Work with individual children and small groups to support learning and development
Assist with phonics early literacy numeracy and creative activities
Promote positive behaviour social interaction and emotional wellbeing
Support children with personal care where required (toileting dressing mealtimes)
Observe assess and record childrens progress in line with EYFS requirements
Help maintain a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Prepare classroom resources and learning areas
Support outdoor learning and structured play
Build positive relationships with children staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has a genuine passion for working with young children
Is caring patient and enthusiastic
Understands the importance of play-based learning
Can support children with varying levels of ability and confidence
Is reliable proactive and a strong team player
Communicates effectively with children and adults
Essential Requirements
Experience working with children in an EYFS nursery or early years setting
Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable (but not essential)
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
Experience supporting children with additional needs in EYFS
First Aid or Safeguarding training
