About the Role
A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Ruislip West London is seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and enjoy supporting young children in a safe stimulating and play-based learning environment.
The EYFS TA will work with children aged 35 years helping them develop socially emotionally and academically in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The school emphasizes creativity curiosity and independence encouraging every child to thrive in a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering EYFS lessons and activities
Work with individual children and small groups to support development
Assist with phonics early numeracy literacy and creative play
Promote positive behaviour confidence and emotional wellbeing
Support children with personal care where required (toileting meals dressing)
Observe assess and record childrens learning and progress
Prepare engaging classroom resources and learning areas
Support indoor and outdoor learning activities
Encourage independence confidence and social interaction
Build positive relationships with children staff and parents

Warm patient and enthusiastic
Passionate about early years education
Knowledgeable about EYFS and child-centred learning
Confident supporting children with varying abilities and needs
Works well as part of a team and independently
Communicates effectively with children staff and parents
Essential Requirements
Experience working in an EYFS nursery or early years setting
Understanding of the EYFS framework
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential)
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
Experience supporting SEN within EYFS
Paediatric First Aid or Safeguarding training
