Job Summary

Our client is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Pharmacist to join their growing pharmacy operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe accurate and efficient dispensing of medications while delivering a high standard of pharmaceutical care and customer service in line with regulatory and company requirements.
Salary:
Negotiable
Responsbilities:
  • Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medication accurately and in compliance with professional and legal standards.
  • Provide clear and professional advice to patients on medication use dosage side effects and interactions.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy appropriateness and potential drug interactions.
  • Manage and maintain proper storage control and stock levels of pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure full compliance with Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) and pharmacy regulations.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy assistants dispensary staff and interns where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate patient and inventory records.
  • Promote health awareness and support customers with basic healthcare guidance.
Key Skills:
  • Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail integrity and patient-care focus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe.
  • Current practising certificate.
