Job Summary

The Content Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality for the high-volume content data created by the ITAM Content team. This role focuses on validating curating and maintaining accurate software and hardware asset management content that is delivered to customers.

The data includes but is not limited to software publishers products lifecycles DMAPs PPNs/SKUs license metrics and types downgrade/upgrade rights suites normalization rules as well as hardware manufacturers models part numbers and hardware normalization rules for the Asset Management Content module.

The role also involves researching software and hardware information from public domains supporting customer issues validating content readiness and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. Prior knowledge of SAM/HAM is not mandatory as training on content curation processes and quality standards will be provided.

Key Responsibilities Content Data Quality & Validation

Perform content data quality assurance activities across varying levels of complexity.
Validate high volumes of ITAM content data regularly to meet customer and organizational quality goals.
Interpret software licensing terms and conditions and verify content data entities to ensure world-class content quality.
Ensure readiness of content before release to customers.

ITAM Content Management

Understand and manage different software and hardware content entities in detail.
Manage IT product SKU information across multiple catalogs.
Create update and maintain various ITAM content entities as required.
Transform network discovery data into actionable information for license management while ensuring data accuracy and quality.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

Create and update ITAM content-related process documentation.
Review content curated by team members as part of internal quality review processes.
Share acquired knowledge with the team to improve overall efficiency and content quality.

Stakeholder & Customer Collaboration

Address content-related issues and requests reported by internal stakeholders and customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced quality-driven environment to deliver high-quality software and hardware content.

Required Skills & Experience Experience & Background

2 8 years of experience in a corporate environment with exposure to high-quality fast-paced teams.
Strong experience in manual software testing and/or data testing with solid understanding of quality and release concepts
OR
Expert-level knowledge and experience in the ITAM industry including internal or external auditing of software/hardware assets.

Technical & Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of:
- Software suites bundle products
- Hardware manufacturers products and models
Working knowledge of ITAM tools such as SNOW FlexNet SCCM MAP ILMT etc. (preferred).
Knowledge of licensing metrics for major publishers such as Microsoft Adobe IBM etc. (preferred).
Familiarity with publisher contract/engagement types (e.g. Microsoft EA Adobe TLP/CLP) is a plus.
Knowledge of VB scripting for data collection using tools like SCCM is a plus.
Prior experience in data/content-based projects is an added advantage.
