The Quality Manager will provide leadership to support the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and EFfCI standards and ensure the teams commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves managing the quality team to ensure the successful review and release of compliant products and maintaining audit readiness through regular process reviews and continuous improvement. This role will also uphold the sites commitment to safety.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Provide leadership coaching and performance feedback to all members of the Quality team.
    • Set goals for direct reports conduct annual performance reviews and ensure the development of all team members.
    • Work collaboratively with site leaders to identify continuous improvement opportunities and set site goal objectives for the upcoming year.
    • Capture and report KPIs and lead the monthly Quality Council to ensure progress on implemented actions to address various quality issues.

  • Quality Assurance and Control:
    • Direct quality assurance activities to ensure ongoing compliance and certification to the ISO 9001 Standard.
    • Oversee quality control activities to ensure product quality continuous improvement and customer satisfaction in compliance with ISO 9001.
    • Ensure audit readiness- Lead auditor for all certification customer and internal audits
    • Drive plantwide system and process improvements to improve quality
    • Exercise authority to accept and reject components products in-process materials reports inspections actions changes and other factors impacting quality.
    • Review and approve MOCs supporting changes ensuring safety and health issues identified through risk analysis are properly addressed or mitigated.

  • Quality Issue Resolution:
    • Collaborate with others to execute RCA and resolve quality issues in response to customer complaints RFT or non-conformances through effective CAPA.
    • Ensure customer complaints and corrective actions are handled according to procedure add value and are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Quality Program Monitoring:
    • Monitor quality program adherence through periodic review of work instructions methods documents records and data.
    • Identify areas of improvement within the Quality department and provide Quality procedure approval.
    • Ensure data maintenance and accuracy in the quality management system.
  • Comply with all corporate and plant policies procedures guidelines and work instructions pertaining to safety; and attend all mandatory safety meetings and training sessions (includes wearing proper PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The expected salary range for this role is 115.000$ - 145.000$ but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience education training licensure certification location and other job-related non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.

This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan medical dental vision life and disability insurance paid time off paid holidays and paid sick leave.
