Job Summary

The Strategist Acquisition Program Management will support the cross-functional efforts to orchestrate and influence acquisition performance across channels products and support of project sponsors the individual will coordinate cross-functional teams to drive growth reduce business risk and ensure close coordination across all Bread stakeholder teams. The Strategist will lead the regulatory Business Risk process for all Acquisition-related matters managing the entire issue lifecycle to achieve issue addition the Strategist will lead as appropriate acquisition performance reporting and management ensuring the organization has visibility on account acquisition trends and opportunities. The Strategist should proactively identify and support cross-functional teams to implement new growth initiatives.


Essential Job Functions
  • Lead regulatory Business Risk for acquisitions as the main delegate. Manage issue lifecycles define requirements and escalate or reprioritize as necessary. Analyze each case plan solutions and propose alternatives for effective resolution. Hold regular stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and progress - (40%)
  • Support the Product Operating Model as a Business Functional Leader ensuring product and technology resources for the Apply and Buy Value Stream are aligned with Breads strategic objectives. Contribute to business case development and support business requirements for growth initiatives. - (20%)
  • Monitor acquisition performance to identify trends across partners products and channels. Develop reports and performance insights for leadership and cross-functional teams as needed. Proactively identify and pursue new initiatives to drive efficiencies and achieve new account targets - (20%)
  • Coordinate leadership materials to provide clear visibility into acquisition trends opportunities and progress toward organizational goals. - (10%)
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to influence and optimize acquisition efforts. - (10%)

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of financial services experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field of study
  • 8 years experience in credit card product management and marketing

Work Environment
  • Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid) 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a Bread Financial location.

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):

$87900.00 - $159200.00

Full Salary Range for position:

California: $101000.00 - $198900.00

Colorado: $87900.00 - $167100.00

New York: $96600.00 - $198900.00

Washington: $92200.00 - $183000.00

Maryland: $92200.00 - $175100.00

Washington DC: $101000.00 - $183000.00

Illinois: $87900.00 - $175100.00

New Jersey: $101000.00 - $183000.00

Vermont: $87900.00 - $159200.00

Ohio: $87900.00 - $159200.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors which may include but are not limited to work location education experience and skills.

Bread Financial offers medical prescription drug dental vision and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance supplemental medical plans and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financials 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.

Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
