Job Summary
Come join our new and innovative Mobile Crisis Team! Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking Part-TimePeer Support Specialistsfor all shifts.
Hourly rate for Crisis Service Peer Support Specialist with NO Certification $16/Hour
Hourly rate forCrisis Service Peer Support Specialist with Certification by DMHA as a Certified Peer $17/hour

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Peer Recovery services which include but are not limited to crisis intervention community outreach and engagement.
- Assist clients in articulating personal goals for recovery and determining treatment objectives.
- Observe the progress clients make toward meeting objectives and provide feedback to client and treatment providers.
- Use personal life experiences as a recipient of services to model recovery and establish trusting relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with the team to support a culture where experiences and preferences are recognized understood and respected.
Qualifications
WHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Certified Peer Support Professional preferred. Eligibility to receive certification required.

- Work Schedule: Availability for any shift including weekends.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
- Must have valid drivers license auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirementand qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks and drug screen.
