Job Description: IT Support Specialist (Remote)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to remote employees by troubleshooting issues related to hardware software and network connectivity
- Install configure and maintain computer systems and software
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of remote workstations
- Respond to help desk tickets and prioritize issues based on urgency
- Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support role
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues on Windows and Mac operating systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions to non-technical users
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and experience with VPNs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Experience:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
- Familiarity with cloud-based tools and services
- Certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
